St. Chad's Out of School Care aims to provide high quality and affordable childcare for children in the community, during out of school hours, in a safe, stimulating and friendly environment.

St. Chad's Out of School Care Service operates from Liddell Terrace and is registered to provide childcare for fifty children between the ages of 3 - 14 years, including children with special needs. The service is available to parents who are attending college as well as working parents, who pay for the childcare at an hourly rate.

The Out of School Care Service offers a wide range of creative, educational and fun activities, enabling parents and carers to work or study in the knowledge that their children are being cared for by fully qualified childcare staff.

Holiday Care is available from 8am- 6pm, Monday-Friday during school holidays. During this time activities are organised around weekly themes and children take part in regular outings.

This service is available to parents who may not reside in the area but who work in close proximity to St. Chad's Community Project, as well as local residents.

After School Care is available 3-6pm every day during term time. This includes escorts from local schools and a snack as well as a variety of stimulating activities. After School Care is charged at an hourly rate ensuring a flexible service at affordable rates.

All childcare places MUST be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

A children's drop-in operates every Monday 6pm-7.30pm during term time. This provides young people 8-13years with a safe environment where they can meet new friends and take part in a variety of activities including pool, table tennis, computer games and physical activities.

It provides a time for young people to chill out and take part in activities of their choice including pool, computer games and football.

A healthy tuck shop is available for refreshments.
